CercaDeTi Rehab organizes functional rehabilitation with a holistic view and warmth in a favorable climate in Calpe on the Costa Blanca, Spain. The rehabilitation is of high quality and is individually adapted based on your needs, conditions and wishes. The training takes place both individually and in groups.

You meet a rehab team that is knowledgeable, experienced and committed. The rehab team consists of a doctor, nurse, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, pilates therapist, counselor / CBT therapist, crisis therapy specialist and rehab assistants. All with good skills and experience. The rehab team has its own experience of living with a diagnosis and disability.

We receive you with a diagnosis / injury in neurology, rheumatology, cancer, orthopedics, edema diseases, pain problems, after Covid-19 and rehabilitation for stress-related problems. For each diagnostic group, there is a specially composed rehab team and rehab program, all to give you a good and lasting result. Relatives are warmly welcome and have their own program.

CercaDeTi Rehab has been in place in Calpe since 2012 and has many satisfied participants.

I think I have been treated really well by all the staff in CercaDeTi Rehab's team. They do not treat me like a person with brain damage but they see my whole being. They really care about me and want to make everything work and be good. The big difference between the rehabilitation at CercaDeTi Rehab and the rehabilitation I have received in Sweden is that Rob (physiotherapist) and Evelin (occupational therapist) work together all the time and in Sweden the physiotherapist takes care of himself and his occupational therapist. You really gain confidence in them and dare to try things that I would not have dared otherwise. My relatives reacted especially to the fact that when I had been in Spain I had gotten much better walking technique and got a higher walking speed before I walked very slowly. When I first came to them I always had my right arm bent and barely used it but Rob made me aware of it and I got good exercises. Now I have almost never bent my arm and use it. No one had been so clear about it before. I am very happy with the rehabilitation that has given me an incredible amount. I'm going again in 2021

Rehabilitation is so much more than just exercise! The whole with training in groups and individually, in the pool, conversations, lectures and social activities is what makes CercaDeTi Rehab so unique. Collaboration in a beautiful environment means that rehabilitation does good in body and bud. Taking care of the individual's needs and adapting activities means that I as a participant are seen and confirmed. A perfectly adapted accommodation with delicious meals is an added bonus. As a spinal cord injured person for 40 years, I have been to rehabilitation many times. The whole and the professionalism that the gang at CercaDeTi Rehab possesses makes it the very best place. I look forward to the next stay, which I hope to be soon. (I could use "fine words" such as Multimodal team and salutogenic approach, which it is but it will be clinical and wrong. You have a big heart and strong joy that you convey to us participants.)

I'm still not quite ok with my diagnosis, but at CercaDeTi Rehab I have had a lot with me along the way that has allowed me to look ahead and maybe accept my situation a little bit. Renée, my therapist said "Accepting is not resigning" It made me think and think about it in a new way. That CercaDeTi Rehab has a holistic view and not only sees the physical but both the psychological and the social that I need has also been so much worth to me. Then they have great experience and knowledge and can explain and show in a way that made me understand how I now function both physically and psychologically. The training is fun, varied and was done specifically for me. Conversations and courses have been a fantastic complement. The fact that you can then focus fully on yourself without disturbing elements means that you absorb all parts of the rehabilitation. An incredibly rewarding concept that I wish everyone could take part in. I also received help to apply for compensation from the social insurance office, which was granted.
