CercaDeTi was founded in 2012 with the aim of arranging recreation on the Spanish mainland. Calpe the place where we started is carefully selected. A network of contacts was built here to take the best care of the Swedes who needed recreation. In 2014/2015, the company was developed and the focus was changed to rehabilitation with a holistic view of people with diagnosis and injury. The development was led by Renée and Peter Torndal and Karin and Kent Revedal. The goal is for everyone with a diagnosis / injury to have the best opportunity to live fully to the best of their ability. The management has their own experience of living with an injury / diagnosis and being close relatives.
The rehab team was hand-picked to meet each patient’s needs. Working close to the patient became and is a key word. Quality instead of quantity has resulted in small groups and individual rehab plans for each participant. The importance of a rehabilitation with a holistic view, physically, mentally and socially is in focus.

They stayed in Calpe at the Gran Hotel Sol y Mar, The Unusual Hotel, a fantastic hotel that we still work with. On a walk along the beachwalk, they found a adapted beach with the sign “Cerca de ti” It means “near you” in Spanish. It became our company name
